Drying and Extracting Moringa Seed Coagulant for Dye-Wastewater Treatment

Conventional coagulants like aluminium sulphate carry health concerns, which has driven interest in natural alternatives. This study focused on the preparation side of using Moringa oleifera seeds as a coagulant for dye wastewater — specifically, how to dry and extract the seeds for best results.

Published in an open-access Journal of Physics: Conference Series volume, the team oven-dried moringa seeds at 40, 50 and 60°C and fitted the drying data to five thin-layer kinetic models to find the optimal conditions.
