Boosting Moringa Seed Coagulant with Salts and Lime for Sewage Treatment

Moringa seed extract works as a natural coagulant, but its performance can be enhanced. This study asked whether adding common, cheap chemicals to the extract improves how well it removes turbidity from sewage.

Published in Engenharia Agrícola, the work ran in two phases: first finding the best moringa concentration, then testing the effect of adding two salts (NaCl and KCl) and a base (lime, Ca(OH)₂) to the extract.
