Malaria remains a leading cause of death in tropical countries, and resistance to existing drugs is a growing problem — driving the search for new candidates. This study used a computational (in-silico) approach to explore the anti-malarial potential of Moringa oleifera bioactive compounds.
Moringa, widely cultivated in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Indonesia, has many known pharmacological effects (anti-asthma, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antimicrobial), but its anti-malarial action is less clearly understood — the gap this study addresses.
