Industrial wastewater from food and textile factories is a major pollution source. This study assessed how effectively Moringa oleifera seed removes pollutants from such effluents and from a river.
Three water sources were studied in Babylon province, Iraq: wastewater from a sugar factory, wastewater from a textile factory, and surface water from the Shatt Al-Hilla River. Each was treated with moringa seed powder solution at doses of 10, 20 and 30 mL, with physical and chemical properties measured before and after.
