Moringa OEM & Private Label Manufacturing Guide
July 11, 2026
Launching a private-label moringa product
Moringa has moved from niche superfood to a mainstream ingredient across supplements, functional food and beverage, and natural cosmetics. For brands and distributors, the fastest route to market is OEM or private-label manufacturing: you own the brand and the customer relationship, and a specialist manufacturer handles cultivation, formulation, production and certification.
MORIFA offers OEM and private-label supply built on our own moringa — giving you traceability from farm to finished pack, which is increasingly what retailers and regulators expect.
What OEM vs private label means here
- Private label — you take an existing MORIFA formulation (for example moringa capsules, tea, or a ready-to-drink powder) and sell it under your own brand and packaging.
- OEM / custom formulation — we develop a product to your brief: blend ratios, added functional ingredients, flavour, format and packaging.
Most new brands start with private label to reach the market quickly, then move to custom formulation once volumes justify it.
The four-step OEM process
- Brief and sampling. You share your target market, product concept, certification needs and target price. We propose a formulation and send samples.
- Formulation and specification. We lock the recipe, spec sheet, shelf life and packaging, and agree the lot size.
- Production and quality control. Manufacturing runs under our certifications, with lab testing for safety and consistency.
- Packaging and export. Finished goods are packed to your artwork and shipped with the export documentation your market requires.
Explore the finished-product formats we already run in food & beverage and natural cosmetics.
Formats we manufacture
- Supplements — moringa leaf capsules and tablets
- Food & beverage — moringa powder sachets, ready-to-drink, cereal drinks, effervescent tablets, bars, pasta and snacks
- Tea — loose-leaf, tea bags and moringa tisane blends
- Cosmetics — cold-pressed moringa oil, serums and body oils, including our trademarked TIMOR MORINGA® oil
MOQ, certification and lead time
- MOQ. OEM finished goods typically start at 1,000–5,000 units per SKU depending on format and packaging. Raw-material private packing can start lower.
- Certifications. Production can be aligned to USDA Organic, EU Organic (via CERES), Halal and BPOM depending on your target market — tell us the destination and we confirm what applies.
- Lead time. Driven by formulation complexity, packaging sourcing and testing. We confirm a realistic timeline at the specification stage rather than promising a generic number.
What to prepare before you contact a manufacturer
To get a fast, accurate proposal, have these ready:
- Target market(s) and the certification each requires
- Product format and any functional claims you want to make
- Target retail price or landed cost
- Estimated first-order volume and reorder cadence
- Packaging direction (or a request for us to propose it)
The more precise the brief, the faster we can move from concept to first production run.

Whether you are a distributor adding a moringa line or a brand launching your first product, we can take you from concept to a certified, export-ready pack.
