How to Manually Extract Moringa Oil

If you don’t have the budget for investing in the moringa oil extraction machine, no worry because you can still do it manually. It takes more energy, but it still allows you to get the best of your moringa seeds.

To extract the oil, you should firstly roast some moringa seeds. Make sure that all the brown outer shells are removed. Keep roasting until the inside of the seeds are turning golden brown. Don’t look at the flimsy husk of the seeds because they will remain light even when the inside is burnt.

To ensure you don’t get it wrong, cut every seed in half so you can see the inside when it is golden brown. Now you need to heat some water and add the roasted seeds. Let the water boiling to allow the oil rising up. Let it for around 20 minutes.

Now that you get the cold pressed moringa oil, skim it off the top of the water and let the water cool to put it in the refrigerator. By allowing the water cooling down in the refrigerator, separating the oil from the water is much easier and you can store the extracted oil in a container.
